  • Yes! We ask for 48 hours notice, we know how stressful this time can be so you can email, text or phone the team and we will do the rest.

  • If you are yet to complete or move into your new build property, the best time would be one week before completion. Unfortunately, it can be tricky to get access from the builder before the keys have been issued to you, if this is the case best to book us the day after you have the keys. If you are already in your new home we can come round at any stage as long as it’s within your builders 2-year warranty period.

  • We will get your report to you within 24 hours.

  • No, a snagging survey is a specialist process that focuses on the quality of workmanship and issues out of building regs/ tolerances set by new build warranties (NHBC). A structural survey is more suited to an older house experiencing serious issues.

  • It depends on the size and condition of the property, generally we spend around 2 hours in an apartment or 3 for small house, and between 3-6 hours in larger houses. Our time is then spent writing up the report which is why we allow 3 days after

  • In 2022 the New Build Ombudsman created the NHQB (New Homes Quality Board) who created a checklist for us to follow.

    The NHBC is a warranty company that signs-off properties throughout the construction process. It provides a 10 year warranty for any structural issues but also provides a detailed guide of how to achieve its standards (known as "tolerances"). These tolerances are the benchmark to how we raise snags in our Snagging Survey.

  • As long as our inspector is able to inspect 2 properties on the same day and the properties are located nearby, we are happy to pass on the saving.

  • We charge a £49 deposit when you book and then after the inspection has been carried out the balance is processed using the same card details. If you would prefer to pay using a different card then please let us know on the day of the survey. You can book right here on the website.
